Winfried Schleicher deceased
OBITUARY
On Friday March 28th 2010 we got the sad message that Mr. Winfried Schleicher has died after a long disease, aged 77.
As the son of the company founder Alexander Schleicher, former co-partner and Chief Executive Officer, he spent his whole working life in the Schleicher factory.
Until his retirement in 1993 our customers and subcontractors have known him as the director of the sales and trading department.

Atypical weather at the US-Nationals 2009
One day lacked for a valid contest in Cordele (GA). After three competition days the canadian guest pilot Jerzy Szemplinski on the top. John Cochrane was the best US pilot. Eric Mozer on place three.

France: Olivier Darroze wins also the Grand Prix with ASG 29-15
World Champion Olivier Darroze won another major competition: The Grand
Prix de France. Finishing first on three days (out of six) surely
contributed to this overall result.

Poland: Janusz Centka, winner of the 18m Polish Nationals in ASG 29
Unkind weather conditions only allowed 3 competition days but two ASG 29 pilots were on the podium at the end of the contest.
Schleicher agent Christoph Matkowski finished in third place with ASG 29.
