At the very beginning of the new year David Jansen<\/strong> fulfilled a long-cherished dream. After a planning before of one year, on 2nd January 2015 he started in his ASG\u00a029\u00a0E from Kingaroy in the east of Australia. After a 12 hours flight and more than 1500\u00a0km further south he landed in Benalla.<\/p>\n

With this, David Jansen has smashed the Australian Gliding Distance Record of 1250\u00a0km by more than 250\u00a0km.<\/p>\n

David has written a must-read report about the preparation and implementation of this exceptional flight.<\/p>\n
