Martin Heide has retired"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When <strong>Martin Heide<\/strong> came to Alexander Schleicher Segelflugzeugbau in 1981, the type designations<strong> ASK<\/strong> and <strong>ASW<\/strong> had already been known for a long time in the world of soaring. The young University of Stuttgart &#8220;Akaflieger&#8221; found his place alongside <strong>Rudolf Kaiser<\/strong> and <strong>Gerhard Waibel<\/strong> in the design office.<\/p>\n<p>The flight testing of Gerhard\u2019s just finished ASW\u00a022 became an opportunity for a thesis to complete his studies at the University of Stuttgart\u2019s aircraft design institute.
