In the Sports class the podium was completely occupied by Schleicher pilots: <strong>Mike Smith<\/strong> (ASW 27) became US champion, followed by <strong>Peter Scarpelli<\/strong> (ASG 29) and <strong>Dan Reagan<\/strong> (ASH\u00a031\u00a0Mi).<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssa.org\/ContestResults.asp?contestId=2456&amp;ContestDetailId=20486&amp;ContestName=2019+Standard+and+Sports+Class+Nationals&amp;ContestDate=8\/31\/2019&amp;ResultsUpdate=True\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2019 Standard and Sports Class Nationals<\/a><\/p>\n<p>At the Region 4 South-Contest in New Castle, Virginia, <strong>Henry Nixon<\/strong> (ASG 29) won in the 18m class, in front of <strong>Robin Clark<\/strong> (ASG 29). In the mixed Standard\/15m class <strong>Karl Striedieck<\/strong> (ASW 27) came in first and <strong>Evan Ludeman<\/strong> (ASW 27) was second.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssa.org\/ContestResults.asp?contestId=2451&amp;ContestDetailId=20591&amp;ContestName=2019+Region+4+South\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2019 Region 4 South-Contest<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In Fairfield, Pennsylvania, the team of <strong>John Seymour<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Gregg Leslie<\/strong> (ASG 29) won the Region 4 North-Contest in der 18m class, followed by <strong>John Lubon<\/strong> (ASG\u00a029) and <strong>Erik Mann<\/strong> (ASG 29).
