Three Apprentices Successfully Complete Their Training at Alexander Schleicher
Our employees David Fronapfel, Ben Paul Hofmann and Sergej Swetschkow have successfully completed their training as lightaircraft builders and have received their skilled worker certificates.
Following our company holidays, Training Supervisor Joschka Schmeisl presented our three newly qualified skilled workers with their certificates and final reports in a small ceremony. David, Ben and Sergej impressed with their strong performance throughout their apprenticeship and can now look forward to the next step in their careers: all three will continue working at Alexander Schleicher.
Instructor Tobias Baier also warmly congratulated his former trainees on successfully completing their training and wished them all the best for the future.
During their three-year training, they did not only learn their trade but also gained comprehensive insights into the various areas of our production operations.
During the first two years of their apprenticeship, they rotated through all departments, gaining experience in different areas of work, tasks and manufacturing processes.
This gave them the opportunity to discover which occupations suited them best and where they could make the most of their individual strengths.
For the third year of training, the Training Management and Production Planning jointly assessed which areas had staffing needs and also which departments matched best with the individual strengths and interests of each trainee. As a result, David moved to the repair department, Ben to fuselage construction, and Sergej to the paint shop. There, they were able to extend their knowledge in the respective areas and gain further practical experience. Now that they have successfully completed their training, they will remain in these departments as skilled workers and can build directly on the experience they have already gained.
So once again, congratulations to all three of you!
