The Ka 6 was Rudolf Kaiser’s first project after his permanent return to Schleicher.
Dr. Hans-Georg Kaiser, the son of Rudolf Kaiser, provided his father’s original drawing. It shows a three-view of the first Ka 6 with a span of 14.0 meters. Rudolf Kaiser used this as his scratch paper for the design of details. Here he entered, for example, the exact positions of the frames and ribs and also the location the steering mechanism. In addition this paper was also used as a notepad for the calculation of strength and control systems.
