Guido Achleitner is Austrian Champion with the ASG 32 Mi

Werner Amann and Friedrich Hofinger each win second place

Our Austrian representative, Guido Achleitner, was the happy winner at the 2017 Austrian National Championships at Mariazell. He was able to secure the overall Open class championhip with a win on the last competition day.  With two day wins and two second place finishes on previous competition days he got ever closer to Sebastian Eder.

ASG 29 pilot Werner Amann finished second behind Wolfgang Janowitsch in the 18m class.

Reinhard Haggenmüller (ASG 29) came fourth and the German guest pilot Christoph Limpert of Rhönflug Gersfeld finished 7th, also with an ASG 29.

In the 15m class Friedrich Hofinger came second with his ASW 20 after an exceptional performance (one day win and two second places) behind Eduard Supersberger.

ASG 29 Es pilot Michael Rass  (day win on the last competition day) came in third, ahead of Jan Jagiello (ASW 27) in 4th.
