Der Motorsegler ASW 22 BE mit seinen Baureihen nach Gerätekennblatt Nr. 834 kann durch Ausbau der zellenseitigen Triebwerkskomponenten als Segelflugzeug ASW 22 B oder BL (je nach Baureihe) nach Kennblatt Nr. 351 zugelassen und nach Einbau der zellenseitigen Triebwerkskomponenten als Motorsegler ASW 22 BE oder einer der Baureihen nach Gerätekennblatt Nr. 834 zugelassen werden. Die Werknummer bleibt erhalten. Powered sailplane model ASW 22 BE incl. all variants according to data sheet number 351 can be approved as sailplane ASW 22 B or BL (whatever variant is applicable) after the power-plant components have been removed or after installation of the power-plant components it can again be approved as powered sailplane ASW 22 BE or one of the model variants according to data sheet number 834. The Serial Number remains the same in all cases.
